On the first day the Bambu Lab X2D arrived, the first job wasn’t printing — it was unpacking and checking whether the dual-nozzle module had loosened during shipping.
Unboxing checklist
- Nozzle mounting screws: both were slightly loose, tightened with the included hex key.
- AMS latch: factory-assembled, no issues found.
The first test print used the built-in calibration model at 0.2mm layer height in PLA, took about 40 minutes, and showed no visible warping. The dual-nozzle calibration that followed is documented separately in the machine notes.
