The most common dual-nozzle failure mode is a Z-height mismatch between the two nozzles, which lets the idle nozzle scrape already-printed layers.
Steps
- Open the firmware’s built-in calibration menu and select “Dual Nozzle Z Offset.”
- Use the calibration card to measure the touch-height difference between the nozzles and record the value.
- Enter that offset into the printer profile in your slicer.
This procedure has been verified multiple times on FW 01.02.03 with stable results, hence marked verified.
