X2D Dual-Nozzle Z-Offset Calibration Procedure

The most common dual-nozzle failure mode is a Z-height mismatch between the two nozzles, which lets the idle nozzle scrape already-printed layers.

Steps

  1. Open the firmware’s built-in calibration menu and select “Dual Nozzle Z Offset.”
  2. Use the calibration card to measure the touch-height difference between the nozzles and record the value.
  3. Enter that offset into the printer profile in your slicer.

This procedure has been verified multiple times on FW 01.02.03 with stable results, hence marked verified.
